I started woodcarving in 1969 as a form of relaxation. My curiosity started to run wild and what started as relaxation soon became a burning passion. I devoured all the information I could find to learn the basics of woodcarving. New ideas came springing up that I had not seen before. In 1979 I was invited to be the resident woodcarver at the National Carver’s Museum. I have since settled in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where I continue my business woodcarving for architects, designers, decorators, and home owners, carving doors, carved fireplace mantels, carved trim moulding, carved murals, and anything that would be an accent in a home. I encourage you to browse my site to get ideas for your building project. The Gallery Page has pictures of carved doors, carved relief panels (similar to small murals), free standing woodcarving, carved signs, etc., for ideas. Woodcarving can be a great way to add just the right accent to your project. When you have questions please feel free to contact me by phone or email about your woodcarving needs. Enjoy, Thom. |
